FAASIK RECEIVED INKIND DONATIONS FROM UNITED ARAB EMIRATES EMBASSY
On June 3, 2019, United Arab Emirates Embassy donated goods such as rice, cooking oil, flour, cereals and sugar etc to FAASIK Kenya as in-kind donation to support People Living with HIV (PLWHIV) including widows and orphans. The donation was received by Zaituni Hassan, Program Director of Giving Hope and Care project accompanied by Victoria Oyungu, Executive Director of FAASIK. Ms. Victoria expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates Embassy for their generous donations and being a strategic partner. ‘We are so grateful for your generous support. These donations will have an impact to the needy families especially the PLWHIV. May God bless the ambassador,’ said the Executive Director.
FAASIK DISTRIBUTES IN-KIND DONATIONS TO THE NEEDY FAMILIES
Driven by the passion to impact the lives of the People Living with HIV (PLWHIV), Widows and orphans, FAASIK distributed the goods to the neediest families in Eastleigh and Mathare community in Nairobi County and to the rural people in Isiolo County. ‘Thank you so much to the embassy of the United Arab Emirates for remembering us at such a time of need. May God bless you abundantly’ said a community member in Nairobi County. ‘We had struggled so much to look for a meal. Thank you for helping us with the shopping. This may now last for a month”,’ said a PLWHIV person in Isiolo County.
